2Bar History and Legacy
Reviving a Dairy Barn,
with a community of partners
The idea of 2Bar emerged from a passion to save a century old Dairy Barn and protect this near West End land parcel from development. 2Bar is a unique collaborative partnership that promotes community and gathering, protects the natural landscape, and invites enjoyment of the property with partners and friends. Located on a 170-acre farm, 2Bar is a peaceful private gathering place for friends and family. The purpose is to foster joy and connection in our natural world by gathering in a low stress environment for smaller events and larger special occasions.
With a rich history dating back to the early 1900s and ties to the Western frontier, 2Bar pays homage to the namesake 2Bar cattle brand owned by the owner's great-great-grandfather, Ora Haley, in Moffat, Wyoming. Ora's ranching empire, led by Cattle Detective Tom Horn, came up against the infamous Ann Basset, whose crew included Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. This legendary history has inspired us to create our own story in the creation of 2Bar Partners.

Dairy Barn
The decades-old Dairy Barn, left to disrepair, is being carefully restored to its former glory. With approximately 4,000 square feet of indoor event space and ample hardscape outdoor space, The Dairy Barn is being thoughtfully renovated to host both large and intimate gatherings. Designed to mirror the lush natural surroundings, The Dairy Barn will feature rustic wood and stunning vaulted ceilings, as well as catering space and the famous 2 bars. The wild legacy of the original 2Bar brand will be brought to life with the "2 Bars of 2Bar," encompassed by the rustic elegance of Tom Horn's Bourbon Bar and Ann Basset's Bubbly Bar.

The Dairy Barn is just the beginning. 2Bar is nestled on over 170 acres of pristine land along the edge of the Kanawa Canal, 2Bar offers a rare canvas for those who want to make a moment entirely their own. Whether you envision a ceremony beneath the open sky, a reception among the trees, or something no one has ever thought of before, the land is yours to shape. From intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, there's room here to dream as big as the property itself.
